Bernoulli's Hose
Description
Show Bernoulli's principle in a non-intuitive way. Classes Used: Phys 101
Purpose
Apparatus
Bernoulli's hose, small piece of paper, playing card.
Setup
Place the small piece of paper on the table and put the end of the hose with the circular disk on top of it. Blow into the other end of the hose and lift the paper off the table.
Notes
the tubing on this demo has been replaced, it is now much shorter than in the picture Updated Jan 24, 2017
