Electric Train
Description
Battery-powered train
Purpose
Apparatus
- AAA Battery
- 6 x 0.75“ neodymium disc magnets
- Figure 8 Copper wire track on acrylic base (featuring flag that spins as the train passes)
Setup
1. Remove small detachable section of the track
2. Attach magnets to battery like so: NS Battery SN
3. Place train in opening of track
4. Replace detachable section before the battery makes a full loop to make a continuous track
Notes
The train may get stuck; if so, wiggle the track slightly. Other larger batteries that fit in the track can also be experimented with.
