Gyroscope
Purpose
To demonstrate the operation of a gyroscope.
Apparatus
gyroscope, hand drill with special bit
Setup
Set gyroscope wheel into rapid rotation using the hand drill. Then the gyroscope can be moved about on the lecture table to show that its setting remains fixed.
