Purpose
To demonstrate recoil and the conservation of momentum principle.
Apparatus
Rockets, Pump for rockets
Setup
Fill rocket about half full of water (about 20 or 25 pumps will do). Aim away from students and hold so that you will not be struck by the exhaust of the rockets.
