===== Description =====

Demonstrates how wires with DC current flowing through them attract and repel each other depending on direction of current flow.



===== Purpose =====


To demonstrate how wires with current flowing in the same direction attract, while wires with current flowing in opposite directions repel. This setup is much smaller and less impressive than the other one.


===== Apparatus =====


Smaller Attraction/Repulsion setup
Power supply pictured below (located in power supply closet)


===== Setup =====


Plug in the power supply and connect the wires to the setup. Set to 6V/20A
Do not leave the power supply on for more than 5 seconds to prevent overheating!
