Warm water works best. Some stirring required. Fill other beaker with plain tap water. Place bulb in first beaker of plain tap water, turn on with no result; then place bulb into second beaker, salt water, and bulb lights up. ===== Notes ===== Take care with this demo as wiring is exposed.
