===== Purpose =====


  *  To show equal forces. 
  
  *  To show that the center of mass of the system remains at rest. 
  

===== Apparatus =====


2 trolleys, 2 chairs, 1 rope, 1 heavy student, 1 light student.  



===== Setup =====


Make sure that the wheels of both trolleys are aligned before the demonstration and both students should start with a slight jerk to overcome friction.
