===== Purpose =====
To demonstrate how temperature affects the density of water.
===== Apparatus =====
Density Ball, cold water (~15C), warm water (~45C).
===== Setup =====
This density ball is made up of a copper ball loaded with weight so that it will sink in warm water and float in cool water. The density of water at 45C is 0.990 and at 15.5C it is 0.9990. The difference in weight displaced by the ball in hot and cold water is less then one gram.
